David Fagan Ba.Sci.(P&O) David Fagan has been one of the owners of Sunshine Orthopaedics since 1998. A degree qualified Orthotist, David offers an exceptional level of knowledge and experience in not only Orthotics, but in his current role as Mobility Manager. In this position, David is able to provide a high level of both clinical and technical expertise spanning paediatrics through Geriatrics and incorporating spinal and sports; covering wheelchairs, seating, and mobility products. David is also the only accredited David Hart Walker Orthotic Consultant in Queensland. Dewet Heyns. Our Senior Prosthetist (Dewet Heyns) has the following Experience: Since graduating in 2006, he has had experience in all aspects of Prosthetics and Orthotics, from lower limb, to all types of partial foot amputations, Symes, Trans Tibial, Knee disarticulation, Tran femoral and Hip disarticulation. With respect to upper limb, all types of partial hand amputations, wrist disarticulation, trans radial, elbow disarticulation, trans humeral and shoulder disarticulation. Dewet’s experience spans all the different Orthotic and Prosthetic systems, namely Modular and Exoskeletal and various socket designs. Julie Grady Julie Grady has worked for Sunshine Orthopaedic Services since 1993 and holds comprehensive knowledge and experience in the day to day runnings of a busy business. These include all aspects of administration, customer service, mobility scripting and wheelchair assembly. Three years ago she became one of the owners of Sunshine Orthopaedic Services in conjunction with David Fagan and Craig Hall. Julie now works out of both the Nambour and Geebung offices and prides herself on customer service Garry Taylor Garry holds a Certificate in 'Cast Technology' and has passed U.S Certification in Orthopaedic Technology. He holds the position of 'Fellow' in the Australian Institute of Orthopaedic Technologists Inc . Garry has 32 years experience in Orthopaedic cast room settings and can work as an Orthopaedic assistant/technician or Clinical resource person, utilising his high level of technical knowledge and expertise in orthopaedic splinting and casting. Garry is also proficient in the fitting and adjustment of off-the-shelf orthopaedic products. He also has the added experience as an Orthotic fabricator in high and low temperature plastics as an 'Orthotic' Technician.
